Our Favorite Memphis Wedding Venues
Nathan & I are Memphis natives who just love our hometown and everything it has to offer. One of our favorite things about Memphis weddings is that there are so many great Memphis wedding venues to choose from.
If you’re planning a Memphis wedding, then girl, pull up a chair. I’m going to share my favorite local wedding venues & give you the inside scoop on what to look for based on your style & aesthetic.
Heartwood Hall: Romantic & Rustic
There’s no doubt that Heartwood Hall is hands down one of the most romantic wedding venues in Memphis. Some of our favorite weddings have taken place here, & it’s easy to see why. Heartwood Hall is swoon worthy to say the least.
One of the best things about Heartwood is that there are indoor & outdoor areas that can accommodate your guests without having to worry about rain putting a damper on your wedding day. We love that the front porch can be used for beautiful outdoor photos even when it’s raining. Some couples choose to have their ceremony in the garden & their reception in the rustic barn, while others opt for a wedding/reception combo inside the barn which can easily accommodate room for caterers, guests, & of course a dance floor. ;)

Cedar Hall: Charming & Chic
The beautiful Cedar Hall is another venue we absolutely love & adore. It’s historic charm creates the perfect environment for so many amazing shots you’ll love looking back on when you reminisce about your wedding day. There are so many things you’ll love about Cedar Hall. The original hardwood floors, white pillars, & brick are a lovely addition to the photos from your big day.

Brooks Museum of Art: Elegant & Enlightening
If you want a venue that is the epitome of chic and elegant, I recommend Brooks Museum, which is right in the heart of Midtown and Overton Park, one of our favorite spots in Memphis. The neutral tones of the exterior are a photographer’s dream, and if you’re an art lover like Nathan and myself, then you know why this location in particular strikes a chord with us.
One of our sweet couples, Mallory and Tyler, were married in a church nearby and wanted to have their photos taken at Brooks Museum, and I am so glad they did. The perfect spring day created this beautiful backdrop that was so dreamy it felt like we were watching a fairy tale unfold right before our eyes. All the heart eyes for this couple and their beautiful wedding!

Orion Hill: New & Unique
If you’re looking for a unique location that guests may never have had the chance to experience, Orion Hill is perfect for your big day. Orion Hill is a new venue that has only been open for a couple of months! We love attending events here because there are acres & acres for beautiful photo opps. Because this venue is so new, your wedding day (& your photos) will be unique!

Annesdale Mansion: Romantic & Regal
Annesdale Mansion is one of our beautiful city’s oldest homes, & events here are gorgeous because the architecture is just stunning. If you’re going for a cozy, romantic, exclusive feel, Annesdale is the perfect location for a reception. The vintage fireplaces & chandeliers are some of my favorite aspects, but the garden & grounds are large enough, yet enclosed enough to host hundreds of people while still feeling intimate & warm.
